Care Instruction

Silk Jacquard Fabric

Silk is the epitome of luxury due to its soft feel and elegant appearance, known for its luster, strength, and durability. However, it is weak against perspiration, therefore extra care should be taken when choosing a cleaning method.

・When ironing, use a pressing cloth and iron at medium temperature.

・Please avoid using steam irons.

・Please note that if the item gets wet from rain or sweat, it may lose its luster or develop ring marks.

・Please handle with care as the material is delicate.

・As the material is delicate, please be careful of friction and snagging with rough surfaces such as belts and bags when wearing.

Silk is called the queen of fibers, and its comfort, feel, texture, luster, and beautiful colors are wonderful. On the other hand, it is very delicate and requires careful care.

We strongly recommend that your garment be dry-cleaned from time to time. Also, please keep in mind that washing with water could result in shrinkage or color loss.

Storage Instruction

Silk will not mildew unless left for some time in a damp state. Always have your silk garment cleaned before storing in dry place away from the direct light. Many people wear aloha shirts all year round, but if you are going to put them away after summer ends until the next season, be sure to dry clean them and dry them thoroughly before storing them. It is strictly forbidden to put them away while they are still covered in sweat. Also, since silk is a protein, it is susceptible to insect damage. Please be careful when storing your aloha shirts by putting in an insect repellent.
