LOBSTER Silk Aloha Shirt
Color / Yellow and Red Size Chart Care Instruction
Japanese name/ EBI
-About-
The inspiration for this lively pattern came from a Kabuki theatre costume from the Edo era (1603-1868) in the collection of the Tokyo National Museum.
It is said that the long beard of the Japanese Spiny Lobster looks just like that of a wise scholar who has lived a very long time. The lobster pattern has been used as a celebratory symbol since ancient times, and is also a symbol for success and longevity due to the way in which lobsters are able to swim with vigor.
The sprout of a young pine tree is drawn next to the lobster, a symbol to portray a fresh beginning, giving us strength and courage at each important turning point in life.
